1、 Characteristics and Applications of Laboratory High Speed Centrifuges

TG16GLaboratory high-speed centrifugeThe casing is made of iron and has undergone spray coating treatment on the surface, resulting in good rigidity, high strength, strong corrosion resistance, and a novel and beautiful appearance. It has the advantages of low noise, low temperature rise, safety and reliability, and is suitable for experimental analysis work with small sample size and multiple separation steps. It is widely used in colleges, research institutes, pharmaceuticals, medical and other units.

This machine can be safely used in environments with temperatures ranging from 5-40 ℃, relative humidity not exceeding 80%, and no conductive dust, explosive gases, or corrosive gases in the surrounding area.

A laboratory high-speed centrifuge is a device used for centrifugal separation and purification of biological samples such as proteins, DNA, RNA, etc. This device can typically rotate at high speeds of thousands to hundreds of thousands of revolutions per minute, utilizing the different densities and gravity of the sample during rotation to achieve separation. Centrifuges typically have programmable control systems and multiple rotors that can adapt to different sample and separation requirements. It is widely used in the field of life science research, such as molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, etc.

IIILaboratory high-speed centrifugeOperating procedures

1. Place the centrifuge on a solid and flat surface, ensuring that all four legs are evenly stressed. Shake gently with your hand to check if the centrifuge is placed smoothly.

2. Open the door cover, gently place the selected rotor onto the motor shaft, screw on the nut to tightly connect the rotor to the motor shaft (be careful and gentle to avoid significant left and right shaking and up and down pressure, so as not to damage the flexible support of the motor), and then gently rotate the rotor body. The rotor body should rotate flexibly, and the hanging cup (adapter) should tilt freely on the rotor body.

3. Weigh the centrifuge bottle together with the solution inside the bottle (the weight error between each centrifuge bottle should be ≤ 2g) and place it in a hanging cup. If the rotor is configured with an adapter, weigh the adapter, test tube sleeve, and centrifuge tube containing the solution together using the same method (the weight error between each adapter should also be ≤ 2g), and then place the rotor body to ensure balanced operation of the instrument.

4. Close the door cover and check if it is indeed locked (gently lift the door cover after closing, but it cannot be opened).

5. Connect the power and press the power switch.

4、 Set operating parameters such as rotor number, speed, time, temperature, etc

Operating interface:

The working status is displayed separately: running, shutdown, door open.

Malfunctions are displayed separately: communication error, system error, imbalance, motor not turning, overspeed, door open

Settings interface:

Work status display: Settings

When the centrifugal unit is RPM, the highest speed is displayed under the rotor setting, and when the centrifugal unit is RCF, the maximum centrifugal force is displayed under the rotor setting

The laboratory high-speed centrifuge is a commonly used tool for separating and purifying biomolecules in the laboratory. Its working principle is to utilize the advantage of centrifugal force greater than external forces such as gravity and buoyancy during high-speed rotation, enabling the rapid separation and precipitation of biomolecule samples, thereby collecting the required biomolecules.

Application scope:

(1) Separate organelles and cellular componentsHigh speed centrifuges can be used to separate organelles and different components inside and outside the cell, such as the nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, etc.

(2) Separate macromolecular compoundsHigh speed centrifuges can be used to separate large molecular compounds such as proteins, nucleic acids, polysaccharides, etc.

(3) Preparation of single-cell suspensionHigh speed centrifuges can be used to prepare single-cell suspensions for cell separation and cultivation research.

(4) Extract nucleic acidHigh speed centrifuges can be used to extract nucleic acids such as DNA, RNA, etc.

The laboratory high-speed centrifuge has a wide range of applications in the laboratory, which can help researchers quickly separate and purify the required biomolecules for subsequent experiments and analysis.
